Our Store

Stradwicks Carpet One Floor & Home in North Bay, Ontario, is your local family-owned and operated neighbourhood flooring store. Originally opened in 1944 by J.C. Stradwick, we bring attentive and dedicated service to everything we do, from our professional design consultations to floor installations. Since our humble beginning, Ralph James purchased the branch in 1980 and we’ve moved into larger premises as we’ve grown. We are a member of the Carpet One cooperative, one of the largest flooring co-ops in the world, which allows us to compete with big box stores that monopolize the market. Our co-op gives us more buying power, which allows us to offer you lower flooring prices that rival those found in big box stores.
